Courtney Sanders serves as the California Project Manager for EENR Advocates, overseeing operations from her hybrid office in Bakersfield, California while collaborating closely with the firm’s Tulsa homebase. She brings a unique combination of healthcare experience, OSHA Safety certification, operational leadership, and people-centered management to the environmental law field.

Raised in Bishop, California, Courtney developed a strong work ethic and deep respect for community and the natural world—values that guide her approach to leadership and environmental advocacy. Her early career in healthcare, including Emergency Room work in Bakersfield and psychiatric care in Colorado, honed her ability to perform under pressure, manage complex situations, and lead with empathy.

At EENR Advocates, Courtney manages day-to-day operations of the Bakersfield hybrid office, supervises staff, oversees client relationships, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates seamlessly with the Tulsa leadership team. Known for her empathy, professionalism, and quick wit, she creates organized, supportive, and positive environments for both clients and staff.

Courtney is a proud mother of two sons, and her nephew serving in the U.S. Army, and cherishes her mother and her close friends, whom she considers family. She also shares her home with her fur baby, her beloved English bulldog, Milly. She loves the Eastern Sierra, painting, refinishing furniture, and gardening—passions that reflect her creativity, resilience, and commitment to the environment.
