SUMMARY

Elizabeth M. Edwards is an experienced attorney with a robust background in complex federal civil litigation and a steadfast commitment to social justice. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she brings a unique perspective and a comprehensive skill set to our firm. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has been deeply involved in advancing social justice initiatives and remains dedicated to using her legal expertise to advocate for marginalized communities and promote equity within the legal system. 

EDUCATION

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts (1996) and Juris Doctor (1999) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin with court admissions including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and multiple U.S. District Courts.  

CAREER

Before joining EENR Elizabeth founded Edwards Legal Solutions, PLLC, specializing in freelance legal research, writing, and complex litigation consulting. Her extensive experience includes serving as a Bilingual Staff Attorney at YWCA Tulsa and Legal Aid Services of OK, Inc., where she advocated for low-income clients in civil and immigration cases. At Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry, Elizabeth established an innovative immigration legal services program, further demonstrating her creativity and dedication to serving diverse communities. Her prior experience practicing law at firms located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Madison, Wisconsin, solidified her reputation as a skilled federal litigator.  

 Beyond her legal practice, Elizabeth served as a Lecturer at Koç University Faculty of Law in Istanbul, Turkey, where she taught Legal Writing and coached the Jessup Moot Court team to national victory. She also was employed by Galatasaray University Faculty of Law, where she taught a course on the American Legal System. Elizabeth continues her love of teaching by mentoring new attorneys and teaching English as a Second Language.   

FAMILY

Elizabeth grew up in the Missouri Ozarks and has a deep personal connection to the environment, spending her free time exploring and enjoying the natural places she works to protect. This firsthand experience enriches her understanding and commitment to environmental sustainability.
