SUMMARY:

Garrett was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 2015. Garrett’s legal career began at the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office, where he began working as a front desk clerk before later becoming a case manager, and eventually the Deputy Director of DA Supervision, 991 Cost, Restitution, and Bogus Checks.

During his time at the District Attorney’s Office, Garrett took night classes at Tulsa Community College where he graduated with an associate’s degree in psychology. He then finished his bachelor’s degree at the Oklahoma State University Tulsa Campus, where he received a B.S. in multidisciplinary studies with focus in psychology and philosophy. During his senior year at Oklahoma State University, Garrett was accepted into the University of Tulsa College of Law. Garrett participated in the accelerated 3+3 program between Oklahoma State University and the University of Tulsa College of Law, which allowed him to begin law school a year early, and he is currently in his second year of law school. In addition to his work and his studies, Garrett serves on the University of Tulsa College of Law Student Bar Association and the Public Interest Board. 

When Garrett is not at work or in school, he enjoys spending his time enjoying the outdoors by fishing and working on classic cars. He also enjoys spending time volunteering with the Tulsa County Bar Association Street Law Committee by volunteering at Tulsa Central High School.
